Zusammenfassung: | The present disclosure relates to content distribution/delivery network (CDN) services. The present disclosure provides, to this end, a device operable as an endpoint or as a node of a network. The device is configured to initiate transmission of a packet from the device to a remote device by establishing forwarding information; and sending the packet from the device to a proximate node. The packet includes the forwarding information. The forwarding information indicates one or more selected links. Each selected link is a link between two nodes of the network. The selected links form a forwarding path from a proximate node to a remote node. By taking purely source-based routing decisions, the endpoints may locally respond to events such as endpoint mobility, service indirection and/or topology changes. |
