Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to methods of increasing sensitivity of an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-related cancer to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of EGFR isoform D to a subject in need thereof. The invention also relates to methods of treating a subject suffering from an EGFR-related cancer comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of EGFR isoform D and a TKI. In one embodiment, the EGFR-related cancer is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).
