Zusammenfassung: | Apparatus, systems, and methods used to produce linear and rotational motion, acceleration, and/or actuation by the use of mobile ferromagnetic or permanent magnets subjected to electromagnetic field. A plunger can have an asymmetrical magnetic field distribution that can cause movement of the plunger when acted upon by an electromagnetic field. The asymmetrical magnetic field distribution can have a peak magnetic flux density at one end of the plunger. In some examples, a plunger includes a series of magnets in a linear arrangement. In some examples, at least a portion of each magnet varies in diameter relative to adjacent magnet in the series of magnets. |
