A computer acquires image data including a target object captured by a camera. The computer detects motions at each of a plurality of positions on a subject including the target object captured by the camera, based on the acquired image data. The computer specifies a plurality of the positions where magnitude of the detected motions is greater than a reference value, from among the plurality of positions on the subject. The computer performs evaluation as to the target object captured by the camera, based on distribution of the specified plurality of the positions on the image data. As a result, highly accurate forgery determination is enabled.
