Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a flushing system and a flushing method where the position of the toilet cover (2) may be detected and the flushing process may be performed only when the toilet cover (2) is in closed position; in other words, the activation of the flushing system is prevented in cases where the toilet cover (2) is open or the flushing process is delayed and/or the flushing process with limited flushing fluid flow rate is permitted until the toilet cover (2) gets to the closed position.
