Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for estimating pedalling activity on an electrically assisted bicycle, comprising the steps of measuring the speed of rotation of a wheel of the bicycle; measuring the speed of rotation of the crankset; calculating an apparent gear ratio (Ba) proportional to the ratio of the measured wheel speed to the measured crankset speed; and analysing the evolution of the apparent gear ratio independently of a theoretical gear ratio (Bth) proportional to the number of wheel revolutions per crankset revolution, in order to deduce characteristics of the pedalling activity. The analysis is implemented using a time base where the pitch between the crankset rotation speed measurement samples is considered to be constant. |
