Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an actuator (1) to be received in a machine tool for machining a workpiece by means of at least one tool (3) which can be moved relative to the workpiece. The actuator (1) is formed by the following components: a shaft (4) which can be coupled to the at least one tool (3), a solid-body assembly (7) constituted by at least one flexure hinge (6) for elastically supporting the shaft (4), and a device (8) for exciting vibrations in the shaft (4) along the longitudinal axis (19) of the shaft (4). The invention additionally relates to a machine tool equipped with such an actuator (1) and to a corresponding method for machining a workpiece using such an actuator (1).
