The external apparatus (30, 40, 50, 60) has a main body unit (30, 40, 50) disposed in the anaerobic chamber (70) and an operation unit (60) disposed outside the anaerobic chamber (70). The main body unit (30, 40, 50) is configured to perform a predetermined process onto the cell culture container (10). The operation unit (60) is configured to transmit or receive a signal associated with the predetermined process to or from the main body unit (30, 40, 50) by wireless communication.
