Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method whereby a first vehicle receiving a radio frequency signal validates a second vehicle emitting said radio frequency signal, the method comprising obtaining (310), by the first vehicle, a first estimate of a position of the first vehicle relative to the second vehicle on the basis of the radio frequency signal received, the estimate being obtained using a radar system of the second vehicle operating in echo mode; obtaining (320) a second estimate of a position of the first vehicle relative to the second vehicle using a radar system of the first vehicle operating in echo mode; comparing (330) the first and second estimates, the second vehicle being validated as having emitted the radio frequency signal if the result of the comparison shows that the first and second estimates of the position of the first vehicle relative to the second vehicle represent the same position of the first vehicle relative to the second vehicle.
