LAUNDRY CARE APPLIANCE COMPRISING A CONTROLLER

The present invention relates to a laundry care appliance (100) having a flexible laundry chamber (101), which can be closed in a fluid-tight manner, for receiving laundry, a pump (111) which is fluidically connected to the laundry chamber (101), a pressure sensor (101-1) for detecting an air pressure in the laundry chamber (101) and a controller (123) for controlling the pump (111). The controller (123) is designed to activate the pump (111) in a volume detection step in order to pump away air from the laundry chamber (101) that is filled with laundry, wherein the controller (123) is designed to detect the time until an air pressure detected by the pressure sensor (101-1) has dropped inside the laundry chamber (101) from a first air pressure value to a second air pressure value, and wherein the controller (123) is designed to determine a volume of the laundry received in the laundry chamber (101) as a function of the detected time.
