Zusammenfassung:	A device (10) for monitoring a retraction system (100) includes at least one capacitor (14) connected to at least one spring (12) in such a manner that the connection of the at least one spring (12) and the at least one capacitor (14) forms a tuned circuit (16). A frequency determination component (20) is provided and is designed to determine information regarding a frequency of the tuned circuit (16). An evaluation unit (30) is designed to derive information regarding a length of the at least one spring (12) from the information regarding the frequency of the tuned circuit (16).
