ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR QUICKLY UPDATING PARTIAL REGION OF SCREEN

The present invention relates to an electronic device and method for quickly updating a partial region of a screen, wherein, in a normal driving state, a processor may control a DDI to receive a first user input for a first execution screen, generate a second execution screen corresponding to the first user input, and generate a first frame image including the second execution screen, such that a display displays the first frame image including the second execution screen, and in a partial update driving state, the processor may control the DDI to receive a second user input for the first execution screen, generate data of a partial region corresponding to the second user input, and store the data in a buffer memory, such that the display displays the partial region with reference to the buffer memory and displays the remaining regions excluding the partial region, in the same manner as the first execution screen.
