Injection-molded parts (1) of the art suffer from fabrication errors due to a knit line (23) at which a fracture (19) may occur. The inventive injection-molded part (1) improves prior art solutions by comprising a body portion (3) and a projection portion (9) projecting from the body portion (3), the projection portion (9) comprising a functional portion (11), which is configured to support a mechanical load (33, 35) during operation, the projection portion (9) further comprising a knit line (23) resulting from the molding process via which the projection portion (9) is produced, the projection portion (9) further comprising a non-functional portion (51) adjacent to the functional portion (11), the knit line (23) being located in the non-functional portion (51). The inventive device comprises an inventive injection-molded part (1), wherein a mechanical load (33, 35) is applied to the functional portion (11), the functional portion (11) being adjacent to the non-functional portion (51).
