The electric actuator actuates a safety gear. The elevator device includes: a car (1); a safety gear (2) mounted to the car; and an electric actuator (10) mounted to the car and operative to actuate the safety gear. The electric actuator includes: a housing (30) ; a mechanism part located in the housing; and an operation lever (11) connected to the mechanism part and extended from the inside of the housing to the outside of the housing through an opening of the housing. The housing includes a cover member (32) for covering the opening. The operation lever is inserted through the cover member. |
