Included is a heavy duty tire which includes a tread containing at least one rubber component and at least one resin, and satisfies the following relationships (1) to (3): (1) 1.0% by mass < S ≤ 12.0% by mass; (2) N ≤ 25%; and (3) S/N ≥ 0.04 wherein S represents the total styrene content of the rubber component, and N represents the negative ratio of the tread.
