Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a solid composition in powder form comprising palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) as an active ingredient, the solid composition being characterized in that it comprises a) a lipid-surfactant phase including the PEA and containing at least one medium chain triglyceride (MTC); at least one mono- and diglyceride of fatty acids; at least one mono- or poly-unsaturated fatty acid, or precursors thereof; at least one hydrophilic surfactant; and b) a hydrophilic phase in the form of granules containing glucose polymers and/or polyols, on which the lipid-surfactant phase is adsorbed.A further object of the present invention is the process for preparing the aforesaid solid composition, in powder form.
