Zusammenfassung:	A solid state battery is provided including a battery element that includes a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer. A solid state battery of the present invention includes a composite protective layer covering the battery element, and a conducting part capable of extracting electricity from the battery element to an outside, in which the composite protective layer includes a first protective layer and a second protective layer formed with an overlapping region where the first protective layer and the second protective layer overlap each other, and the conducting part is extended from the overlapping region to the outside.
