Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a method for producing cleaned recycled pulp fibers from used sanitary materials said method being capable of forming recycled pulp fibers that have a low nitrogen-containing component content. A method for producing cleaned recycled pulp fibers from used sanitary materials said method being characterized by comprising: a moisture content adjustment step (S11) wherein the moisture content of a mixture that contains pulp fibers and a highly water absorbent polymer is adjusted to 70% by mass or less; an oxidation treatment step (S12) wherein the mixture after the moisture content adjustment step is treated with an oxidant-containing aqueous solution that contains an oxidant thereby oxidatively decomposing the highly water absorbent polymer and the oxidatively decomposed highly water absorbent polymer is dissolved in the oxidant-containing aqueous solution while forming the recycled pulp fibers; and a recycled pulp fiber recovery step (S 13) wherein the recycled pulp fibers are recovered.
