Zusammenfassung:The present inventions discloses an apparatus (4000) for use in treating a respiratory disorder comprising: a housing (4010); a humidifier reservoir (5110); a pressure generator (4140) configured to supply a flow of air; a device outlet (4004) fluidly coupled to the pressure generator and configured to be coupled to an air circuit (4170) to deliver the flow of air to a patient interface (3000) for treating a respiratory disorder; a chassis (4016) for providing support to the apparatus, the chassis comprising a dock (4130, 5130) for removably receiving the humidifier reservoir; a heating element (5240) configured to provide a heat input to a volume of water in the humidifier reservoir for humidification of the flow of air; a cover plate (5241) constructed from a conductive material and configured to conduct heat from the heating element to the humidifier reservoir; and a seal (5243) constructed from a resilient material and configured to prevent water ingress from the dock into the heating element.
