Zusammenfassung:	A method for forming aggregates (M) of food pieces (m) by arranging a plurality of food pieces (m) such that the food pieces (m) at least partially overlap one another is provided. The method automatically changes the number of food pieces (m) forming each aggregate (M) and a pitch (K) at which the food pieces (m) are arranged so as to limit the weights of the aggregates (M) within a predetermined permissible range and to form each aggregate (M) such that the total length of the aggregate (M) is a preset length (A). The method also automatically changes the number of food pieces (m) forming each aggregate (M) and the pitch (K) at which the food pieces (m) are arranged according to the length (A) of the food piece (m) in the arrangement direction.
