Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a hose-to-connector connection, comprising: - a connector (20), which has a front-side first end (21), a second end (22) provided at the opposite end with respect to a direction of flow, a flow channel (24) running therebetween, and a partition (30) disposed between the front-side end (21) and the second end (22), which partition divides the flow channel (24) into a first portion (25) facing the front-side end (21) and a second portion (26) facing the second end (22) and is provided with a passage opening (32) for fluidically connecting the first portion (25) to the second portion (26); and - a hose (40); wherein the first portion (25) forms a receiving opening for the hose (40). According to the invention, in order to reliably establish the hose-to-connector connection, the connector (20) is provided with insertion ribs (50) on the inside in the region of the first portion (25) of the connector, the dimensions of which insertion ribs are matched to the outside dimensions of a free hose end (43) such that the hose (40) is centered as the free hose end (43) is inserted. A method for establishing a hose-to-connector connection of this type is also specified.
