TRAIN INTEGRITY MONITORING APPARATUS AND METHOD BASED ON RFID TECHNOLOGY

The disclosure relates to a train integrity detection device based on an RFID technology and a method. The device comprises RFID electronic tags, RFID readers and a train integrity detection system, wherein the RFID readers mounted on a ground track or trackside read the RFID electronic tags at the head and tail of a train, and then send read information to the train integrity detection system of a locomotive by means of communication units of the RFID readers; and the train integrity detection system calculates the train length according to stored train head and tail carriages corresponding to the RFID electronic tags, received interval time sent by the RFID electronic tags at the head and tail of the same train and the current speed and displacement of the train, so as to calculate the integrity of the train. Compared with the prior art, the disclosure has the advantages that the safety of the system is further improved, and the accuracy and safety of detection results are ensured.
