Zusammenfassung:	The present invention falls within the scope of devices for positioning cigarette packs. An object of the present invention is a device for positioning cigarette packs in compartments of display cases for cigarette packs, which has a total length of at least the same length as the interior of a compartment for storing items in a display case and at least one scale (2) arranged along the total length, said scale (2) divided into a plurality of equal units (3) of a predefined width corresponding to a cigarette pack to be positioned, and comprising a unit indicator consisting of a gradient between units at the ends of the scale (2), an alphanumeric count between units at the ends of the scale (2). A display comprising the device is also the object of the present invention, as well as the method of positioning cigarette packs by means of the device.
