Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device for extracting (1) a large caliber projectile (10) stuck in a tube (20) of an artillery piece (100), the device (1) comprising an unblocking mass (2) with a diameter smaller than the caliber of the tube (20) and designed to be inserted into the tube (20) at the mouth of the tube, then to be released into the tube (20) to collide by inertia with the blocked projectile (10), the mass (2) being secured to an end of a cord (3). This device is characterized in that it comprises a dropping means (4) that can be secured to the mouth of the tube (20), the dropping means (4) comprising a locking and releasing means (6) which, in a locking position, immobilizes the cord (3) so as to hold the mass (2) in the vicinity of the mouth of the tube (20) and which, in a releasing position, allows the cord (3) to be released.
