An example riblet applique (200) includes a fluorosilicone riblet structure (201) including riblet ridges (202) and a base (204) from which the riblet ridges extend, and a support layer (308) proximate the fluorosilicone riblet structure (201). The support layer (308) includes a vacuum-plasma-treated polymer film (310) having a first surface (320) and a second surface (322) opposite the first surface (320), and a polymer sub-layer (312) proximate the second surface (322) of the polymer film (310).
