Zusammenfassung:An apparatus for obtaining calibration information for a bulk material meter (112, 904) of an air cart (104, 906) is disclosed. The apparatus, comprising: an air cart (104, 906) comprising: a first bulk material tank (110, 911); and a first meter (112, 904) that meters bulk material received from the bulk material tank (110, 911); a second meter (604, 910) that receives a portion of the bulk material and that is operated in a selected manner; a collection container (608, 912) that receives the portion of the bulk material dispensed by the second meter (604, 910) when operating in the selected manner; and a scale (610, 914) that measures the received portion of the bulk material that is dispensed by the second meter (604, 910), the air cart 104, 906) being calibrated using the measured portion of bulk material passed through the second meter (604, 910) and collected in the collection container (608, 912). Furthermore, a method for calibrating a bulk material meter (112, 904) of an air cart (104, 906) is disclosed.
