Zusammenfassung:	A pneumatic tire having a tread with an outer surface defined for ground contact is disclosed. The tread has a first tread zone (30) and a second tread zone (40), wherein the first tread zone (30) includes a central portion of the tread and wherein the second tread zone (40) is located laterally adjacent the first tread zone (40), preferably on both lateral sides of the first tread zone (30). The first tread zone (30) is formed of a first rubber compound and the second tread zone (40) is formed of a second rubber compound different from the first rubber compound. The first rubber compound has a G', measured at 100°C, 1 Hz and at 50% strain in the range of from 1.6 to 1.8 MPa and/or the second rubber compound has a G', measured at 100°C, 1 Hz and 100% strain in the range of from 0.75 to 0.90 MPa.
