Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a pressure fluid storage tank and to a system for carrying out said method comprising the following steps: a) providing a rigid rotating support (10) having a central portion (34) and two opposite rounded end portions (30, 32); b) providing a composite ribbon comprising a thermoplastic polymer material and a fibrous material embedded in the polymer material; c) melting the polymer material of the ribbon and winding the ribbon around the rigid support (10) by making contiguous turns and superposed turns so as to form a composite layer around the rigid support (10). Furthermore, a plurality of discontinuous portions (40) of the ribbon is locally applied to at least one of the two rounded opposite end portions (30, 32).
