An imaging device (10) includes a first lens barrel (21), an imaging element (31), and a frame (30). The first lens barrel (21) holds a first lens (201) of an imaging optical system (20). The imaging element (31) is disposed on an image side of the imaging optical system (20). The frame (30) is attached to a substrate (32). The imaging element (31) is mounted on the substrate (32). The frame (30) is attached to the first lens barrel (21) at a position on an object side of the first lens (201).
