The invention relates to a cutting wheel (30) for a trench wall cutter (10), said cutting wheel comprising a drum-shaped hub (32), on the outer periphery of which plate-shaped tooth holders (40) are mounted in at least one peripheral row, in which tooth holders cutting teeth (50) are detachably held for removing soil. At least one cutting tooth (50) is provided comprising a tooth head (60) extending transversely to both sides of the tooth root, the tooth head (60) having a lateral first head region (61) and a lateral second head region (62) which extend in opposite directions from one another, and at least two adjacent cutting bodies (66) being located on each head region (61, 62).
