USE OF ELECTRIC OR HYBRID VEHICLES FOR TREATING AMBIENT AIR IN URBAN AREAS AND CONTROL CENTRE FOR MANAGING SUCH USE

The present invention relates to the use of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle for treating ambient air, the vehicle being provided with purification means designed to separate the pollutants by means of filtering and/or adsorbing and/or catalysing the outside air introduced into the passenger compartment and/or into the exhaust line of the heat engine emissions, which use is characterised by: detecting, from a control centre, an urban area having a level of pollution (C) greater than or equal to a set value (Cmax) and the stationary presence in said area of said vehicle; remotely activating the integrated purification means of said vehicle; and subsequently controlling said means and analysing their performance as a function of time.
