Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a poly(arylene sulfide) (PAS) (co)polymer containing at least one amine as one terminal group in a single step; to a PAS (co)polymer produced by the process; to a polymer composition comprising the PAS (co)polymer containing at least one amine as one terminal group and at least one reinforcing filler; and to an article, part or composite material comprising the PAS (co)polymer or the polymer composition. This present invention also relates to use of the PAS (co)polymer or the polymer composition in oil and gas applications, automotive aplications, electric and electronic applications, or aerospace and consumer goods as a heat and chemical resistant coating.
