MEDICAL INSTRUMENT SET, DELIVERY SYSTEM, AND EMBOLUS DELIVERY MEDICAL SYSTEM

[Problem] To displace an amount of curvature of a curved section provided at the tip of an insertion part that delivers an embolus into an aneurysm, when inserting or removing thereof, to facilitate insertion/removal operations. [Solution] The present invention comprises an elongated and hollow delivery catheter 20 that: includes an elongated main body 21, and a curved section 26 which extends at the distal side of the main body 21 and curves so as to gradually move away from a center axis of the main body 21; has a lumen 20a that continues from the distal end of the curved section 26 toward the base end of the main body 21; and delivers an embolus into an aneurysm through the lumen 20a. The invention also comprises an elongated correcting member 30 that is inserted into the lumen 20a of the delivery catheter 20 and that displaces the curved section 26 so that an amount of curvature of the curved section 26 after insertion is less than that before insertion.
