NEUTRON CAPTURE THERAPY SYSTEM

A neutron capture therapy system, comprising a vacuum tube for transmitting a charged particle beam, a neutron generating part for generating a neutron beam, and a beam shaping body for shaping the neutron beam, the beam shaping body being provided with an accommodating part, the neutron generating part being disposed at an end of the vacuum tube, and the vacuum tube having a first position and a second position. The neutron capture therapy system further comprises a removal device. The removal device comprises a moving part that drives the vacuum tube to move; the moving part has a third position and a fourth position; when the moving part is in the third position, the vacuum tube is in the first position; and when the moving part is in the fourth position, the vacuum tube is in the second position, and the neutron generating part is located at the outer side of the beam shaping body at this time. That is, the provision of the removal device to remove the vacuum tube having the neutron generating part can reduce the direct contact between a worker and the neutron generating part after a nuclear reaction, thus lowering the radiation safety hazard of workers.
