Zusammenfassung:A purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a highly water-absorbing recycled polymer the method making it possible to inhibit particles from tenaciously adhering to each other and to efficiently dry the particles and being capable of producing a highly water-absorbing recycled polymer having excellent whiteness. The method is for producing a highly water-absorbing recycled polymer from a spent highly water-absorbing polymer and is characterized by comprising a dehydration step in which the spent highly water-absorbing polymer is dehydrated to form a dehydrated highly water-absorbing polymer a particle adhesion step in which particles of a highly water-absorbing polymer are adhered to the dehydrated highly water-absorbing polymer to form a highly water-absorbing polymer with the particles adherent thereto and to simultaneously cause the particles to absorb the water held by the dehydrated highly water-absorbing polymer and a drying step in which the highly water-absorbing polymer with the particles adherent thereto is dried to form the highly water-absorbing recycled polymer.
