APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING DATA IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The present disclosure relates to a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, in a wireless communication system, a base station comprises at least one transceiver, and at least one processor coupled to the at least one transceiver. The at least one processor may be configured to: control the at least one transceiver to transmit first data based on a first hybrid automatic request (HARQ) process; control the at least one transceiver to transmit second data based on the first HARQ process; after transmitting the second data, generate third databased on the result of the first data being received; and control the at least one transceiver to transmit the third data based on a second HARQ process.
