Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure relates to the field of treating patients with implantable delivery devices for long term release of therapeutic agents. In particular, the present disclosure provides devices and methods for stabilizing a therapeutic agent within a device during implantation. The device controls the long-term release of the therapeutic agent by using a nanoporous membrane. Stabilization is achieved by using a high molecular weight stabilizer having a size greater than the membrane pore diameter, thereby preventing release of the stabilizer.
