Zusammenfassung:	Battery packs 20 for aircraft 10 are provided, as are aircraft 10 comprising such battery packs 20. One such battery pack 20 comprises: a housing 22 enclosing a plurality of battery cells 200; and an air channel 21. The air channel 21 is connectable to an aircraft air inlet 16 and an aircraft air outlet 17 whereby, during flight of the aircraft 10, air enters the aircraft 10 through the air inlet 16, passes through the battery pack air channel 21 and exits the aircraft 10 through the air outlet 17. At least a portion of a surface 211 of the air channel 21 is in thermal contact with the battery cells 200, whereby air flowing through the air channel 21 exchanges heat with the battery cells 200 through the surface 211 of the air channel 21 without entering the housing and contacting the battery cells 200.
