Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A clamp (112) is described configured to restrain a shrimp comprising a pair of jaws (124) positioned on a base (110), wherein the pair of jaws (124) comprises a first jaw and a second jaw facing each other across a clamping axis (121). A first jaw face and a second jaw face define a receiving slot, with a distance between the first jaw face and the second jaw face across the receiving slot in a direction aligned with the clamping axis (121) narrowing when moving away from the base (110) between the first jaw face and the second jaw face along a compression axis (123) extending through the base (110) between the first jaw face and the second jaw face; a spring member operably attached to the first jaw is configured to resist movement of the first jaw away from the second jaw along the clamping axis (121) and is configured to resist movement of the first jaw away from the base (110) along a compression direction aligned with the compression axis (123), wherein a shrimp located between the pair of jaws (124) is compressed against the base (110) between the pair of jaws (124) by the spring member and the first jaw. A method of restraining a shrimp is also described.
