Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an incineration plant for solid material having- a combustion chamber (1), in which solid material is introduced and in which the solid material is combusted, whereby flue gases are produced,- at least three vertically aligned passes (2.1, 2.2a, 2.2b, 2.3) downstream of the combustion chamber (1), wherein- at least one further pass (2.4) downstream of the at least three vertically aligned passes, wherein the at least three vertically aligned passes (2.1, 2.2a, 2.2b, 2.3) and the at least one further pass (2.4) are arranged such that the flue gases are advanced in a first horizontal direction (3) from the at least three vertically aligned passes (2.1, 2.2a, 2.2b, 2.3) to the further pass (2.4).
