Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a hydraulic cylinder which comprises: a cylinder housing, having a bottom wall and a circumferential sidewall; a cylinder piston, which is arranged to be displaceable backwards and forwards in the cylinder housing; and a piston rod, which is fastened to the cylinder piston and is hollow in construction, more particularly has a tubular form, the piston rod having a rod top on the end remote from the cylinder piston. The hydraulic cylinder is characterized in that the cylinder piston and the rod top are fastened to the piston rod by a tie rod running through the hollow piston rod.
