ANTENNA ASSEMBLY, RECEIVER ASSEMBLY, COMMUNICATION METHODS FOR THE SAME AND SYSTEM

The disclosure relates to an antenna assembly (3, 3'), a receiver assembly (2, 2'), communication methods (300, 400) for the same and a system (1, 1'). The antenna assembly (3, 3') comprises a signal line (10, 10') for connecting the antenna assembly (3, 3') to a single line communication cable (9, 9'). The antenna assembly (3, 3') further comprises an antenna (11, 11'), arranged to receive a radio frequency signal and to apply the radio frequency signal to the signal line (10, 10') of the antenna assembly (3, 3'). The antenna assembly (3, 3') further comprises an antenna multiplexer (14, 14'), arranged to separate a superimposed signal from the radio frequency signal on the signal line (10, 10'), wherein the superimposed signal comprises a supply voltage for the antenna assembly (3, 3') and a communication signal. The antenna assembly (3, 3') further comprises an antenna controller (13, 13'), arranged to receive the communication signal and to perform a monitoring and/or a control operation in response to the communication signal.
