MODULAR CLAMPING SYSTEM

The invention relates to a clamping system (1) for clamping workpieces, comprising a clamping platform (100) which can be arranged in a processing machine and which comprises a supply system for providing at least one supply medium; a first clamping unit (300) for a first workpiece with a first workpiece geometry; and a universal clamping element (200, 202, 204, 206), which can be actuated by the supply medium, for fixing a first workpiece on the first clamping unit and a second workpiece on a second clamping unit, said universal clamping element being connectable to the supply system, wherein the first clamping unit (300) comprises a first coupling interface (302, 304, 306) for securing the universal clamping element, and the universal clamping element (200, 202, 204, 206) is releasably secured to the first coupling interface (302, 304, 306), is designed to fix the first workpiece in a first clamping position, and preferably comprises a base on which the first coupling interface (302, 304, 306) is arranged.
