Zusammenfassung:	An ergonomic and aerodynamic bicycle handlebar system having appropriate sweep angles and slope angles, embodiments of which can vary both for the type of application and the width of the bar, provides improved energy efficiency, comfort and increased center of gravity control. Flare angle and drop angle can also be adjusted for particular applications. The handlebar may be made of carbon fiber or other suitable materials. Various alternative embodiments are disclosed for drop handlebars and mountain bike handlebars.
