Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a loading unit (6) for a drafting system for a textile machine for receiving a drafting system roller comprising an axle (8), wherein the loading unit (6) has a guide device (7) for guiding the axle (8) and a loading device (9) by means of which a pressing force can be applied to the axle (8), independently of the guide device (7), wherein according to the invention the loading device (9) comprises a force transmission element (14) which, during operation of the loading unit (6), is operatively connected to the axle (8) and by means of which the pressing force can be transmitted to the axle (8), wherein the force transmission element (14) is floatingly mounted in a receptacle (28) of the loading unit (6).
