Health metrics can be determined from the data that enables the user to be associated with a particular health type or category. For sleep, this can include associating a user with a sleeping animal having a particular characteristic. This can help the user better understand the user's sleep, as well as how the sleep is compared to others' sleep. In addition to being able to provide health information in an easily understood manner, such a method can help make more accurate recommendations or take specific actions to help improve the health of a user, such as improving sleep. This can include making recommendations to a user or automatically adjusting the operation of at least one device.
