Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device for protecting the battery of an electric vehicle from impacts on the rear end, the battery being packaged in a container provided with a frame (1) comprising, on either side of the container, a longitudinal member (11a, 11b), the end of which is connected, via an angled connecting area, to the facing lateral end of a rear crossmember (12), and the outer side of which is provided with at least one element for supporting the container, such that each connecting area comprises a lug (14) that protrudes backwards, formed by securing together at least two protrusions carried by the respective ends of the longitudinal member (11a, 11b) and the crossmember (12).
