A container-based new device activation method in a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises: requesting a container for controlling execution of a new device from a cloud server when the new device is mounted; and receiving a container package including at least one discovered container from the cloud server, so as to activate the at least one container to control the execution of the new device Accordingly, in order to implement a function of a new device on the basis of a container-based data-centric architecture, same can be associated with vehicle real-time sensor data.
