Zusammenfassung:	A muffler includes a housing having an inlet for receiving an air flow and an outlet for discharging the air flow, a flow guiding device for guiding the air flow in the housing, and a multi-cavity resonator. The flow guiding device is provided with a connecting part with a first branch outlet and a second branch outlet. Wherein the first branch outlet opens into the resonator neck of the multi-cavity resonator and the second branch outlet opens into a through-tube arranged at least substantially without interruption from the inlet to the outlet.
