Zusammenfassung:A method for random access performed by a terminal device comprises determining an association between random access resource and shared channel resource for a request message for a random access procedure, based at least on whether a frequency hopping is enabled for the shared channel resource, or when a frequency hopping is enabled for the shared channel resource; and transmitting, to a network node, the request message according to the association. An association between random access resource and shared channel resource of signaling transmissions in a random access procedure can be configured flexibly and efficiently.
